That only “over 100” (oh my lord … my brain struggles to comprehend that huuuuge number 🫠) people, many of which were already publicly known as not believing it is possible to be trans, signed a letter is so very niche and proves beyond ANY doubt how minuscule their numbers really are. In 2021 over 148 THOUSAND people signed a petition requesting “gender-affirming and gender reassignment services” be eligible for Medicare benefits. This letter should simply be ignored.
The Queensland Health Minister should cancel the ‘pause’ immediately and allow medical professionals to manage any puberty pause where it is deemed to be beneficial by those that are trained to do so (as they already do for cis kids experiencing precocious puberty) in a team with the child and their parents.
Back off and leave trans kids and adults alone. 💪❤️🏳️⚧️
